About You

We're seeking a visionary Multiplayer Data Experience Designer to define how teams collaborate with data across our Foundation platform and dashboards.ai. You'll design experiences that transform data work from isolated analysis into dynamic, multiplayer collaboration - much like players in a modern digital environment. You'll combine deep understanding of collaborative design patterns with expertise in data interaction to create experiences where data scientists, analysts, SMEs, and business users can seamlessly work together in real-time.

Highly Desired Skills

• Experience designing multiplayer software, collaboration platforms, or team-based productivity tools

• Knowledge of data platforms, business intelligence tools, or analytics dashboards

• Understanding of data mesh concepts, federated architectures, and distributed data collaboration

• Familiarity with real-time collaboration technologies and synchronous/asynchronous interaction patterns

• Experience with AI/ML interfaces, conversational UI, or intelligent assistance in collaborative contexts

• Background in designing for data exploration, validation, and knowledge sharing workflows

• Understanding of role-based permissions, governance, and access control from a UX perspective

• Experience with design systems for complex, multi-user enterprise products

What you bring to the table

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably with collaborative platforms, data tools, or multiplayer digital experiences

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, or related field

• Strong portfolio demonstrating multiplayer or collaborative interface design

• Experience designing for complex data workflows and enterprise analytics tools

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Framer, Miro)

• Understanding of collaborative design patterns, real-time interaction, and shared workspace principles

• Excellent ability to design for multiple user personas with diverse needs and skill levels

• Experience conducting user research in enterprise or team-based environments

• Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

You will be responsible for

• Design multiplayer data experiences that enable seamless collaboration between data producers, consumers, and domain experts

• Create intuitive interaction patterns for the "4 X's" - collaborative eXploration, shared eXamination, seamless eXchange, and multiplayer eXploitation of data assets

• Develop real-time collaboration features that allow teams to work together on data discovery, validation, and analysis

• Design AI-first analytics interfaces for dashboards.ai that blend human collaboration with machine intelligence

• Create user experiences that facilitate knowledge transfer and context sharing between different data personas

• Establish design patterns for multiplayer data governance, ensuring compliance doesn't hinder collaboration

• Prototype and validate innovative collaboration concepts for federated data environments

• Work closely with product managers, data engineers, and platform architects to balance technical feasibility with optimal user experience

• Develop and maintain design systems that support consistent multiplayer experiences across Foundation and dashboards.ai

• Conduct research to understand how teams currently collaborate around data and identify opportunities for transformation
